I do professional consultation with mental health providers from a relational, systemic, and social justice framework.

Professional consultation is a bit different from clinical supervision but has plenty in common with it. I see my consultation clients as fellow professionals that I am supporting with compassion, authenticity, and advocacy in mind. Many different topics may be discussed in professional consultation:

• support in building your clinical, supervisory, or leadership skills

• professional development and support diversifying your career in the mental health profession

• complicated ethical dilemmas/challenging clinical cases

• changing systems, policies, procedures, and org culture in your setting

• learning more about relational psychotherapy models

• getting grounded on anti-racist practice in your work

• consultation on your group work or group facilitation skills

• exploring how to curate your career given your individual strengths and challenges with the work

• consultation on choosing trauma processing modalities/training pathways

• ethical dilemmas of all varieties

  Adjunct Instructors & Academic Folks:

  I’m also very interested in supporting and empowering your work in the academic setting where you may be teaching masters or doctoral level mental health counselor and therapist students.

• practicum/internship supervisor support/consultation

• adjunct instructor support: syllabus/curriculum development

• help developing experiential activities to support teaching goals

• working on classroom facilitation skills/ difficult conversations in the classroom

• managing power + developing anti-racism praxis as a white instructor

I use the Discrimination Model, Relational Alliance Model & Relational Cultural Theory as my primary modalities for supervision and consultation.

I will always consider your development and competency level with an emphasis on supporting your growth and development.

I am open to one-time consultation appointments or regular support with no ongoing obligation. I love supporting fellow professionals in building their supervision skills, diversifying their professional activities, and working through complicated ethical or self-of-the-therapist issues!

Cost: $150/hour for consultation
